Yesterday, a year and half later, she got me brown shoes. I was never a fan of brown shoes and especially the kinds that have no laces on. But yesterday, when I saw these sketchers I really liked them. They way they looked and the way they glided on to my feet. You just can’t resist shoes that already feel worn in by you. So there, I have now own my first pair of brown leather shoes. Thank you.
Today, the wind team had a review meeting that was completely different from what they were used to for the last year or so. No laptops were opened and no excel sheets with complex schedules were displayed on the Sony projector. Instead, my new bearded boss went around the table asking what we can deliver at the end of this week. A new boss and new style of review meeting…
Day before yesterday, I met an old college friend. He drove my manual Honda for the first time. In fact, he drove a manual in this country for the first time. I am happy that he was pleased to see me.
Trying hard not to look to deep into the happenings over the past few weeks, I can’t help but see a change is coming. My rigid beliefs are being shaken if not stirred. And surprisingly, I am not that annoyed.
