They said, “Yes. We know it hurts. But you must be strong and give it time. The pain will recede. Focus on what lies ahead after you recover!”
I shake me head in dismay and correct them.
They finally get it and come back with, “Oh, We thought you were talking about your leg!”
I am positive they would have said the same thing, irrespective of the nature of my woes.
Perhaps because the solution to one lies in the other?
The first sentence sounds suspiciously like me!
If you were ‘they’ would you advice any differently?
U: I am trying my best to put myself in their shoes before I rattle of advice. But the point I am making is whether one need to advice at all? Do we really dont know what to do?
Isnt that the most pointless way of being there for someone?
