A Ferrari 1-2 finish at the Indianapolis Grand prix the last weekend. I could not have asked for a better result. The events of that race left me with a rock bottom impression of Michelins. I could not fathom the excuse they offered and their suggestions in order to ensure a 20 car race. If they came to Indy with poor tires then why should Bridgestone’s compromise? For that matter, the other seven teams that boycotted will surely have to pay for what they did. If the safety of the driver was so important they could have run with lower speeds at turn 13. Disgusting of them to quit last minute.
They will pay. Schumacher will make all of them pay.
Plenty of Indian support for Narain Karthikeyan and all were pleased with his fourth sport. I was surprised by the amount of Desis at the race, but then again, this is America. So I should not really be surprised.
As far as I am concerned, I am treasuring these tickets for such a rare race ticket will become a prized possession in some years. Prized enough to sell on EBay!
