I can see what you are doing. You are letting us know slowly that you are on your way here. Don’t think I don’t see you.
To begin with, you drop our ambient temperatures. There were in the seventies only a couple of weeks ago and now within ten days you have knocked them down to mid fifties. Where is the fair warning? Were you ever fair?
You have also curtailed the Sun’s visiting hours. I can see it in his reduced intensity how you terrorized him by tilting the earth’s axis and using your dirty little grey cloud friends. Never mind, this is your time.
Your colding crisp air (which by the way, I will have you know, I actually enjoy) is scaring the trees. Poor things, you have made them change colors and soon they will start shedding leaves in fear. You will then slowly chew off our day time giving us nothing back in return.
I cannot halt your advancement my dear nemesis. However, I can try and take you without fear or depression. Perhaps think of you as just one big fluff of white.
And this feud begins now. Now, as I step out of the house, wearing only a cotton T shirt, denims and open toed footwear… A T shirt designed strictly for summer.
And I shall continue doing so until your first icy breath seeps through enters my chest. After that it’s just you and me…
I am in love with your words.. 🙂
