The movie is superb.
Peter Jackson, through his fantastic cinematic capabilities has managed to stun me again.
I was amazed by how he brought the trilogy of Lord of the Rings to life in his movies. If Tolkien’s book created new lands and languages, his movies managed to bring a piece of that imagination to those who don’t prefer to read. And for me, who enjoyed the book, the movie was a visual treat.
King Kong was fantastic because despite the stupidity of the concept, the director managed to hold my attention for almost three hours! The part when Kong comes to New York and climbs the Empire state, the cinematography is breathtaking.
Kong is no longer the costume party ape but a beast that demands respect.
Naomi Watts looked beautiful. I was never a fan of the 1940 curly blonde hair look but she made a believer out of me. Her eyes and the softness within are surely to die for!
And she was the beauty killed the beast.
